God help me? Or God Deliver me.

Today when Nate came home for lunch he told me that while praying for me (*heart bursting happiness!*) he started wondering why we ask for God's 'help' with things instead of asking God to do it.

For instance, "God help Morgan to not overeat" or "God deliver morgan from the desire to overeat." And how when Jesus taught the disiples to pray He said "deliver us from evil" not "help us to not sin"

This can be added to our insight that we pray to the FATHER not to Jesus.

And as greatful as I am for these insights, I'm so overjoyed at God and my husband right now. He came home from work and told me about something he's taught about God. I'm really feeling like God is becoming our whole lives, not just bits and pieces. It's so awesome. I'm so glad God answers prayer. I'm so touched at this spiritual giant that my husband is growing into. Lord please let it continue and please don't let me get in the way. And help me to grow aswell.

This is just so awesome!
