The Car Guy

Remember how my car got backed into and we had to get it fixed and I've been without one for a week?

Well, it actually turned out to be a blessing:

1. The kids family paid for it and insureance didn't have to be involved :)

2. Nate and I are both BIG fans of the guy he sent us to - they grew up together. He's very honest, nice, personable and a Christian!

3. He fixed my windshield wipers, window, and lock for nothing. He said Nate and I were "good people" and that he wanted to help us out.

God, You run us over with blessings! You are truly good to those who seek Your face. May I say this when it seems everything's going wrong too ; )

Thank You, Pops!

An Eventful Weekend

Wow today should be craZy fun!

I'm about to head out to Thompson for knitting with Aunt Debby and Amy :) I made cookies!

Then, it's time to head over to Sara's to meet up with my High School friends whom I haven't seen in FOREVER. We're supposed to go to Legacy Village to see the lights and have dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. I've never been to either. Then come back to her house for spoons!!!! A card game we used to play every day after lunch.

Then I'm going to my Mom's to spend the night with Casey so I can take her to see her friends at the mall 2m. I'm also going to hang out with Hannah, and I haven't seen her since my wedding so we're both disgusted at how long it's been :)

Then after taking them both home, I get to come back to Nate. I'm very excited.

I'm going to write about how they all went later, but I wanted to add my goals so I can see how they go too:

1. Don't spend a lot of Mula $$
2. Don't eat something I know is bad for me.
3. Cummune with God as much as I can
4 Let His light shine through me and His love be evident in all I say and do so that it's contagious (Song of Songs 6:1)

Later!
